Rapid Industrialization has
raised the need of skilled man-power and in order to meet with
this increased demand of the industry and to provide extensive
employment to the youth, Industrial Training Institutes have a
vital role to play. In this competitive age, application of
engineering and technology across all sector of society has
become indispensable and holds the promise for the future.
Industrial Training Institute R S Pura was housed in a rented
building in 1988. Today, it has its own building, spread nearly
in 11 (Eleven) Kanals, 10 Marlas, situated at Dablehar Road,
Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu, which is 0.5 Km from General
Bus-Stand, R.S. Pura. It has come to in light under Border Area
Development Program.
Awareness among the public; dedicated and effective training,
leading to employability are the major tools to achieve the
primary objective of establishment of this institute in the
rural belt of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
